Although the marketing is a bit deceiving, you must remember that this product is not a substitute for brushing your pet’s teeth. Poor dental health can lead to much more severe health issues including heart disease. All pet owners should be taking the time to brush their dog’s teeth daily, and products like dental chews or this Pooch Smooch cannot be substituted for regular brushing.

If you don’t have time to brush your dog’s teeth every day, products like these can be a great way to promote proper dental health between brushings.
